Brown Jordan announced that it has won a Pinnacle Award from the American Society of Furniture Designers (ASFD). The company’s sophisticated Elements collection, from the 2012 Richard Frinier Collection for Brown Jordan, received the Design Achievement award in the Summer/Casual category at the fall High Point Furniture Market.
Chris Carmicle, President of Brown Jordan commented, “The ASFD Pinnacle Awards are one of the most coveted awards in our industry and we are honored by this distinction.”
The centerpiece of the Elements collection is a modular sectional that was created to bring thought to what can be achieved using the various elements of good design and stylish forms. Long, low lines create a dynamic profile, while integrated cushions invite
lounging. Sectional components combine with a Chaise, Club Chair, Ottoman and a variety of tables to offer complete design flexibility.
The October win at Fall Market in High Point is not first for this stylish contemporary collection. In May 2012, Elements received recognition in the IIDA/HD Product Design competition at the annual Hospitality Design Expo, winning an IIDA Design Excellence
Award in the Best of Show Outdoor Category. Hosted by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and Hospitality Design magazine, HD Expo is the premier tradeshow for the hospitality design industry.
Created for interior and exterior settings, the Elements collection is comprised of lounge seating modules; chat, coffee and occasional tables; and dining furniture crafted in hand-woven Resinweave® over a powder coated aluminum frame. The pieces can be arranged in limitless combinations.
